COVER PHOTO BY ENNY HADDAD 9 20 SPRING IS JUST THE BEGINNING! Do you ever wish you could push a do-over button for your health? Maybe you dream about hitting rewind and fitting into an old pair of jeans. If you're very lucky, maybe those jeans will still be in style when you're ready to wear them again! Perhaps you're trying to find the motivation to exercise regularly, and you regret not having stayed consistently active throughout your life so that "starting over" wouldn't feel so overwhelming. We often agonize about our food choices from yesterday instead of paying better attention to making sure our diet is healthy today. It's tempting to spend time dwelling on what went wrong in the past instead of focusing on what we can do to maximize our health now, like eating mindfully, keeping our doctor's appointments, acting on our screening results, and simply paying attention to how we feel. Falling back into old patterns is easy, but when we propel ourselves forward, we feel better and have more energy to do all the things we want to do during the extra hours of daylight in the spring. We encourage you to begin this season of renewal with a fresh perspective. It's always the right time to start anew and spring forward into action for your health.
