torta sul testo. They're all variations on a
theme of thin, flat breads topped with savory
goodies that showcase the unique flavors

"Flatbread is very hot right now. You can pull in all
these world cuisines," says Dr. Jeff Hertzberg, co-author
of "Artisan Pizza and Flatbread in Five Minutes a Day"
(St. Martin's Press, 2011).

prepare and invites almost endless variations, thanks to
the myriad mouthwatering toppings from which you can
choose. And because flatbread is thin, you're getting
the eating satisfaction of bread for fewer calories than
you would consume by downing a big hunk of yeast
bread, according to Dr. Hertzberg.
