For most of us, reality eventually sets in and we realize the dream of participating in the Olympics as an elite athlete is likely beyond reach. Instead, our dreams shift to hoping that one day we could possibly watch from the stands in person. As time goes on, we settle for the pleasures of watching the games from the comfort of our sofa with family and friends. Commitments to careers, carpools, cooking and cleanup can make taking that first step to improving your health seem insurmountable. But we don't have to compete in a triathlon on the first day we commit to being active, and everything doesn't have to be a competition. This summer, enjoy watching the Olympics wherever you are.
