Do you ever wish you could push a do-over button for your health? Maybe you dream about hitting rewind and fitting into an old pair of jeans. If you're really lucky, maybe those jeans will still be in style when you're ready to wear them again! Perhaps you're trying to find the motivation to exercise regularly, and you regret not having stayed consistently active throughout your life so that "starting over" wouldn't feel so overwhelming. We often agonize about our food choices from yesterday instead of paying better attention to the healthy choices we make today. It's tempting to spend time dwelling on what went wrong in the past instead of focusing on what we can do to maximize our health now. Easy things like eating mindfully, keeping our doctor's appointments, acting on our screening results, and simply paying attention to how we feel are great starts to making progress. Falling back into old patterns is easy, but when we propel ourselves forward, we feel better and have more energy to do all the things we want to do while enjoying the extra hours of daylight in the spring. I'm encouraging you to join me in starting this season of renewal with a fresh perspective. It's always the right time to start anew and spring forward into action for your health! Wishing you a new spring start! Sheryl Fahrenbruch Outreach Program Manager, Spirit of Women Banner Ft.
